Beautiful Alpine Lake Hike

Snow Lake is a gorgeous alpine lake up in the Cascade Mountains. It’s just over an hour from Seattle. The hike is 7.2 miles if you do the whole hike. You can just hike to the Snow Lake Viewpoint and then turn back and save a couple of miles. There is really no need to go all the way down to the lake unless you want to swim in the lake. The hike is fairly steep with 1,800 feet in elevation gain. The hike is worth it though. Throughout the hike you’ll get great views of the mountains. If you go in the fall, there are amazing fall colors. It’s a great day hike to check out!
