Ethique Haircare Rec

Ethique shampoo and conditioner bars are my new favs! I tried the sampler pack and the st Clement’s shampoo bar and wonder bar conditioner did wonders for my oily scalp and dry ends.

The brand is 100% cruelty free and plastic free. They focus on sustainability, have livable wages for their staff, and make great products!!! Plus, it’s female founded!

If you’re looking to try shampoo bars, Ethique is an affordable, high-quality brand that I highly recommend.

I kept seeing these beautiful flat lays of solid hair care products, and honestly, the aesthetics alone drew me in! That's how I first stumbled upon Ethique. I was tired of plastic bottles cluttering my shower and feeling guilty about the waste, so finding a brand that offered a genuinely effective, plastic-free alternative felt like a huge win. My hair has always been a bit of a challenge – an oily scalp coupled with dry, sometimes frizzy ends. Traditional liquid shampoos and conditioners often felt like they were either stripping my scalp or weighing down my ends. The idea of switching to a bar seemed daunting at first; I pictured a struggle to get enough lather or feeling like my hair wasn't truly clean. But I decided to take the plunge and ordered one of Ethique's sampler boxes. It arrived in this vibrant green package, and inside were these adorable heart-shaped solid hair bars. It was such a fun, thoughtful presentation! I started with the St. Clement's shampoo bar for my oily scalp and the Wonder Bar conditioner for my dry ends. The first few washes were a learning curve, but I quickly got the hang of it. For the shampoo, I just wet my hair thoroughly, then swiped the bar directly onto my scalp a few times. A rich, creamy lather appeared almost instantly! It felt incredibly cleansing without stripping my hair. For the conditioner, I either rubbed the bar directly down the lengths of my wet hair or rubbed it between my wet hands to create a creamy paste, then applied it. It detangled beautifully and left my ends feeling soft and moisturized, not greasy. Beyond the amazing positive results for my hair, what really sealed the deal for me was knowing the brand's commitment to sustainability. Ethique is not only 100% plastic-free and cruelty-free, but they also prioritize livable wages for their staff and are female-founded. It feels good to support a company that aligns with my values. Plus, these bars last so much longer than liquid products, making them surprisingly cost-effective in the long run. They're also fantastic for travel – no more worrying about leaks in my toiletry bag! If you're looking to make a switch to eco-friendly hair care, especially if you have similar hair concerns, I can't recommend Ethique enough. Start with a sampler; you might just find your new favorite!
