Credence: First Half Thoughts
First off, I want to fully admit I went into this book having seen MANY mixed reviews.
My first impression of this book being roughly halfway in, I am enjoying it. While I would say, the character growth seems to happen slowly but also suddenly. There also seemed to be a bit of a back track of character progression with Tiernan between her argument with Jake and her parent’s funeral.
Going forward in this book, I hope there is a bit of a background story with Holcomb and CiCi. I also hope to see more consistent growth in not just Tiernan, but Jake, Kaleb, and Noah. I also hope to learn what keeps giving Tiernan nightmares!
