My tattoos and what they mean to me!
🥂 when i was younger, my sisters said that once i turn 18 that we would get matching tattoos and i remembered that every birthday until i was finally 18. on my 18 birthday we each drew a heart from oldest to youngest and we wanted that to be our sister tat!
🥂 i have always loved butterflies due to my mom loving them and all the different meanings that a butterflies can have especially how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly resembling growth, bravery of change and overcoming the many obstacles.
🥂 the you are enough tattoo is something i needed to remind myself everyday of. i got that tattoo at a time that was really hard for me and i just love this tattoo and the meaning it carries.

Hey everyone! So glad you enjoyed the tour of my tattoos and hearing the stories behind them. It's truly amazing how much meaning a little bit of ink can hold, isn't it? I've been thinking a lot about what makes a tattoo truly special, and it often comes down to personalization and the unique story you want to tell. Speaking of stories, some of you might be wondering about ways to make your tattoos even more unique. For example, my butterfly tattoo means so much to me, representing growth and overcoming challenges. Imagine adding something like Roman numerals to it! I've seen some stunning designs where people incorporate a significant date – like a birthday, an anniversary, or even the date of a personal achievement – right into the butterfly's wing or subtly beside it. It adds another layer of personal history to an already symbolic design. It's a beautiful way to mark a moment in time, making your butterfly tattoo truly one-of-a-kind. And for all my fellow dog lovers out there, my outline dachshund tattoo is still one of my favorites! There’s just something so elegant and understated about an outline tattoo. They're perfect if you want something minimalist but still super expressive. I've seen people get their beloved pets in all sorts of poses, from a playful stance to a sweet sleeping silhouette. Mine is just a simple outline next to a tiny heart, and it's perfect for my ankle. These little tattoos are also great because you can place them almost anywhere – wrist, behind the ear, or even a small one on the collarbone like my leaf stem tattoo! Family tattoos are another big one for me, obviously with my sister tattoo. It’s such a sweet way to honor your bond. I know my sisters and I got matching hearts, but I've seen amazing mom, son, and daughter matching tattoos too! You could do anything from a shared symbol that represents your family's journey, like a small constellation or a specific flower, to initials or even a tiny inside joke only you guys would get. It doesn't have to be big or elaborate to carry immense meaning. Sometimes the simplest designs, like an outline cowboy boot tattoo representing your roots or a shared memory, can say the most. The beauty of a little tattoo is just how versatile and impactful it can be. You don't need a huge piece to make a statement. My 'you are enough' script is small, but it's a huge reminder for me every single day. These smaller pieces are fantastic for first-timers or if you want something discreet but still deeply personal. They fit wonderfully on wrists, ankles, fingers, or that dainty design on your collarbone. Finding a unique tattoo for yourself, especially as a woman, often means looking inwards. What are your passions? What quotes inspire you? What moments define you? These personal elements are what truly make a tattoo stand out and become uniquely 'you' – much more than just a symbol, it's a piece of your soul.
