5 ways to start your 2025 Bullet Journal 📖

It’s about that time to start setting up your next journal for the new year, but sometimes the most intimidating part is starting it. 📖

⭐️ Intro Page

Make it known who’s journal it is by decorating the inner page with your personality. I always love adding a recent selfie of me on my own page.

☁️ Letter to your Future Self

I’m all about manifestation, and always love to write a letter to myself to open at the end of the year to see where I was at that certain point of my life and where I am now. It’s always a fun way to see what you wrote and what actually came true!

🗓️ Year at a Glance

Make a 12 month calendar spread to lay out important dates, things to look forward to, birthdays, holidays, etc! I always love having a physical calendar that I can look at whenever I need to plan or remember things.

❤️ Current Faves

Once a month, make a page of your favorite songs, movies/tv shows you watched, food, and other things you’ve been loving during that month. It’s almost like creating a time capsule to look back on at the end of the year.

✨ 2025 Goals

They can be personal or work related. Writing out your goals for the year is the best way to achieve them!

Let me know in the comments what pages you’ll be adding to the start of your new journal and drop a ✨ for good luck in the new year🥰

In addition to the five tips mentioned, consider incorporating a weekly or monthly habit tracker to monitor your progress and stay accountable. You might also want to create themed pages for special occasions like holidays or personal milestones, allowing you to celebrate achievements throughout the year. Remember to personalize your journal with decorations that reflect your style, such as stickers, doodles, or color-coded sections for easy navigation. For those new to journaling, it’s beneficial to use prompts to inspire creativity. You can find countless prompts online, from gratitude lists to favorite memories of the week. Engaging in these practices not only makes journaling enjoyable but also enhances self-reflection and mindfulness. Don’t hesitate to adapt your journal layout as the year progresses – the goal is to make it a functional and enjoyable space for your thoughts and plans.
