Upper Body and Core Workout
I'm definitely trying to get in as much extra core work in as possible these days so I went for a workout that works my arms but also puts some attention to the core.
The arm exercises are pretty standard but by doing them kneeling or lying it makes your core work a little extra! Also, by doing one arm at a time your core has to put in more work so it's double work on your core while still focusing on your arms. We love a good multipurpose workout!
For this workout, I used 10, 15, and 20 pound dumbbells. I did 3 sets till failure with each weight.

Incorporating upper body and core workouts into your fitness regimen can boost overall strength and stability. By focusing on exercises that require core engagement while performing upper body movements, you not only tone muscles but also improve functional strength. For optimal results, consider integrating various movements such as kneeling or lying arm exercises that challenge your core stability. Using dumbbells can enhance the effectiveness of these workouts, allowing for a customizable approach depending on your fitness level. Start with lighter weights to master the form, and gradually increase to heavier loads as you build strength. Remember to focus on high-quality reps instead of quantity, ensuring that each exercise is performed correctly to prevent injury. Aim to include this upper body and core workout 2-3 times a week, and combine it with proper nutrition and hydration for the best results. If you're looking to deepen your fitness journey, explore variations such as circuit training or Pilates-inspired routines, which can further challenge your core and upper body. As you progress, tracking your workouts and setting achievable goals will motivate you to stay committed and observe the improvements in your strength and endurance. Don't forget to warm up before your workouts and cool down afterward to support muscle recovery and flexibility. Enjoy the process and celebrate your achievements along the way!
