Oh heyy ya'll

BACK AT IT!!

I had a great Thanksgiving...nothing beats time with the people you love...and great food 😆

Today was a struggle though. It's so hard for me to get back in the flow after a few days off which is why one of my mantras is NO DAYS OFF! Even on rest days, they are active recovery days.

I opted for some bench work for this upper body day since I wasn't 100% feeling it (aka I wanted to sit and lay back down 😅 )

I did 4 sets of 10-12 for everything and use 10, 15, and 20 pound dumbbells.

Adjustable weight bench is from Reebok !

Focus on upper body strength workouts to re-engage with your fitness goals. Incorporating exercises like the bench press and using dumbbells can provide effective resistance training from the comfort of your home. Aim for a structured plan with 4 sets of 10-12 repetitions to keep your progress on track. Consider keeping your rest days dynamic. Instead of complete inactivity, active recovery—like light stretching or engaging in low-intensity movements—can boost your overall performance. This approach helps maintain blood circulation and muscle pliability while allowing your body to recuperate. Remember, consistency is crucial. With a few small adjustments and a solid routine, you can overcome the post-holiday slump and remain committed to your fitness journey.
