Another rainy day workout..
Standing core because we are on like day 5 of rain and it's giving cozy outside....meaning I laid back down a few times 😆 🤣
Seriously though I knew I was doing core today but I knew laying down was not wise because I probably would of dozed right back off [literally does not take much for me to go sleep 🙃]
These exercises are great though for your lower abs and obliques..I did 4 sets till failure for everything..or you can do 30 seconds.
I used 5 and 10 pound dumbbells which aren't really needed for the workout unless you want to.
Top is from Prozis and it also has matching bottoms ! [CODE:KALIASQUEEN]
Hope everyone has a great day ✌🏾
Standing core workouts are an excellent choice for maintaining fitness, especially during extended periods of bad weather like rainy days. These workouts focus on engaging and strengthening the lower abs and obliques without the need to lie down, which can help maintain alertness and improve posture. Incorporating standing exercises into your routine provides several benefits, such as enhanced balance, core stability, and improved functional strength that translates to everyday activities. Using light weights, like 5 to 10-pound dumbbells, can intensify the workout, increasing resistance for muscle toning and endurance without requiring heavy gym equipment. For optimal results, aim for 4 sets of each exercise taken to muscle failure or perform each movement for 30-second intervals. This approach emphasizes muscular endurance and core engagement, contributing to better abdominal definition and overall core strength. Additionally, maintaining a consistent workout routine during rainy days can boost your mood and energy levels, combating the gloomy weather's impact on motivation. Wearing comfortable activewear, such as the matching tops and bottoms from brands like Prozis, can enhance your workout experience by providing flexibility and support. Remember to focus on proper form to maximize the benefits and reduce injury risk. Engage your core throughout each exercise and breathe steadily. This standing core workout is suitable for all fitness levels and requires minimal space, making it an accessible option for anyone looking to strengthen their midsection regardless of the weather conditions.
