HELLO MONDAYYY
As much as I dislike the feeling of sore legs for half the week..I do also really like getting legs in on Monday..mainly bc they recover just in time for full body Friday 🙃
Does anyone have a particular thing they have to do on Mondays or is it just me? I'm very much go with the flow the rest of the the week but legs on Monday just make more sense to me
This workout was also a lot more glute focused than anything else just fyi!
I used 20 and 30 pound dumbbells for this workout and did 4 sets of 10-12 for everything.
It's a new week which means...new vibes and new opportunities to reach goals. Let's make it a great one fam 💜

Many fitness enthusiasts swear by scheduling their leg day on Monday, and for good reason. Not only does it set a powerful tone for the week, but it also allows ample time for muscle recovery before engaging in full-body workouts later in the week, such as on Friday. Incorporating a glute-focused workout on Monday can enhance overall lower body strength and improve posture and athletic performance throughout the week. Using moderate dumbbell weights, such as 20 and 30 pounds, for sets of 10-12 repetitions is a smart strategy to balance strength building and muscle endurance. Consistent training over time can promote muscle growth and increase metabolic rate, helping to achieve fitness goals more effectively. It’s also important to listen to your body during leg day sessions—soreness can be a sign of muscle adaptation, but proper warm-up, cooldown, and stretching routines can reduce discomfort and prevent injury. Moreover, hydrating well and maintaining a balanced diet rich in protein and complex carbohydrates supports muscle recovery and energy replenishment. Many people find that designating specific workouts to certain days, like leg day on Monday, creates a sense of structure and commitment that boosts motivation. Whether you follow a strict plan or prefer a flexible “go with the flow” approach, prioritizing legs at the start of the week might help keep consistency in your routine. Remember, leg workouts targeting glutes and surrounding muscles contribute not only to aesthetics but also to functional movement, balance, and overall body strength. Embracing "Leg Day Believe" as a mindset encourages perseverance and confidence in your fitness journey. Make Monday your dedicated time for leg and glute gains to fuel the rest of your week with new energy and enthusiasm.
