BAT WINGSS
Came across a tricep workout video and realized it's been a while since I've done a dedicated tricep video...and I also wanted to try this new exercise I came across😅...so BAT WINGS WORKOUT it was this morning !!
A lot of people truly believe that you have to be stuck with that hangtime unless you get surgery and that's not always true...in my case babyyy I was discouraged a lot bc it takes a LONGGGG time to see results in this area...but over time the improvement has been so real!
There's obviously more room for improvement but sometimes you can't focus on where you are at the moment but where you have come from.
Results take time but the time is literally going to pass anyways...and for meeee baby the dentist can't even get me to take my wisdom teeth out so surgery was NEVER an option lol 😅😬
It's really just about showing up every single day...even when the days aren't going to be 100%. Hope that encourages someone❤️❤️
For this workout, I mainly used 5 pound dumbbells [I used 10 pounds for the last exercise] and did 4 sets of 10-12. Yes 5 pounds is enough especially if you don't work your triceps often...that little set of muscles is pretty sensitive and weak so no need to do the most 😂
Happy Tuesday ✌🏾😃✌🏾
If you've been struggling with arm hangtime or the so-called "bat wings," you're not alone. Many people believe surgery is the only solution, but targeted triceps training can help tone and tighten the area naturally. The bat wings workout primarily focuses on strengthening the triceps muscles, which are often weaker and less frequently exercised, making them more sensitive to changes. Using light weights such as 5-pound dumbbells is particularly effective for beginners or those who haven't worked their triceps regularly. The goal is to engage the muscle safely and build endurance over time without causing strain. Exercises like triceps kickbacks, overhead triceps extensions, and reverse flys mimic the movements seen in bat wings workouts and can be done at home with minimal equipment. Results won't appear overnight—progress takes consistent effort and patience. It’s important to celebrate how far you've come rather than focusing solely on current limitations. As with any fitness routine, showing up daily, even when motivation dips, is key to long-term success. Furthermore, combining this targeted workout with overall arm workouts and home-based fitness regimens can amplify results. Incorporating proper hydration, nutrition, and stretching can also enhance muscle recovery and definition. Remember, bat wings are not a sign of failure; they are simply part of natural body composition that can be improved through persistence and smart exercise choices. Stay encouraged and keep pushing forward—your triceps transformation journey is within reach!
