Heyyy ya'll 👋
That first day back after hella days off...
HOTTEST OF GARBAGE 😆 🤣
My goodness this was a fight. I'm literally one of those people that it takes NOTHING to fall out of routine...and the colder it gets the harder it is to get out of my warm bed 😕 both horrible combinations but the workout happened on a Monday so the tone has been set!
Even though I'm paying for my time off..it was still so restful and needed.
Sleep is like my favorite thing to do lol and I got to sleep in and take some naps the past few days so I feel like it was so worth it.
Definitely ate too much also 😅 but all in all my Thanksgiving break was a great one. Now back to reality...
Weights were 10, 15, and 20 pounds and I did 4 sets of 8-10.
Happy Monday fam. 😊
Getting back to a workout routine after several days off can be a real challenge, especially during colder months when staying cozy in bed feels more tempting than hitting the gym. The feeling of struggle is common, and it’s important to recognize that slipping out of routine happens to many. A great way to ease the transition back is by focusing on a straightforward, manageable workout that targets specific goals like toning your arms. Utilizing dumbbells in weights such as 10, 15, and 20 pounds allows for progressive overload—gradually increasing the challenge to build strength effectively without overwhelming yourself. Completing 4 sets of 8-10 reps at these weights can effectively stimulate muscle growth and endurance. Incorporating this workout into your Monday can indeed set a positive tone for the rest of the week, making it easier to stay consistent. Rest and recovery also play a vital role in maintaining a healthy workout regimen. Allowing yourself time to sleep in or take naps after days off helps your body repair and rejuvenate. This balance between exercise and recovery can prevent burnout and keep motivation strong. Additionally, it is common to overeat during holiday breaks like Thanksgiving. Recognizing this without guilt enables you to return to your fitness goals with renewed focus. Maintaining flexible but dedicated routines helps accommodate life’s interruptions. Finally, exercising at home with targeted dumbbell workouts saves time and provides convenience while helping you reach your fitness goals. Keep striving and remember that small, consistent efforts lead to meaningful results over time. Happy Monday and keep pushing towards toned, stronger arms!
