Loved these!
I found some abs and core moves that I can get jiggy with!
I think a lot of my issue with ab workouts is the strain on my neck no matter what I do [and yes I know yo engage my core but it just doesn't work out for me lol]...but with these I didn't feel strain at all.
I also liked that I could really feel the burn with these. I love when my abs are on fire because thats the only way I feel work is getting done..I know I'm not the only one.
Now sets and reps were pretty laughable. I probably did like 5 sets till failure..which was like 4 or 5 for some 😄 🤣 not too much on me though ! My abs and core are the weakest things om my body...but we working on it!
If you have a love/hate relationship with abs and core workouts...definitely give this one a try and let me know what you think!
HAPPY ALMOST FRIDAAAY !
For anyone who's struggled with ab workouts due to neck strain, I completely understand how frustrating that can be. Many traditional crunches and sit-ups tend to put unnecessary pressure on the neck, making it hard to focus on truly engaging the core muscles. What I found helpful in these abs and core moves was how they allowed me to really feel the muscles working without any discomfort in my neck. One key aspect is to focus on controlled movements and proper form to engage the core effectively. I also learned that increasing reps gradually can help build endurance without overexerting yourself early on. For example, starting with sets till near failure, even if it’s only a few reps each, can be more beneficial than pushing through with poor form. Another valuable tip is to incorporate a variety of core exercises that target different muscle groups, such as the lower abs, obliques, and transverse abdominis, to build balanced strength. Simple moves like planks or leg raises can complement the routines without adding neck strain. Consistency is key. Even if your abs are your weakest area, committing to a few minutes daily can lead to noticeable improvements. I found that the burning sensation during these exercises was a great indicator that the muscles were being challenged, which motivated me to keep going. Lastly, don't be discouraged if you can't do many reps at first – it's completely normal. Celebrate small victories and focus on gradual progress. With these tips and the right exercises, abs and core workouts can become enjoyable rather than a dreaded routine.
