New Week let's gooooo!
I know last week the goal was time management...which was a fail...on top of my car getting stolen and getting sick...so here's a BIG🖕🖕to last week...somehow I still managed to workout out and yoga through it all...those videos will eventually get posted...
Anyways IT'S A NEW WEEK!! I'm claiming a great one...with lots of positivity and reaching goals.
Still trying to let the glute tear heal 😢 😪 so no legs today...and probably the rest of the week...so we will be creative this week also !
Today's back day I used 15-30 pound dumbells for everything and did 4 sets of 8-10.
Happy Monday Fam ❤️ 💙
Sometimes, life throws unexpected curveballs that test our resilience and commitment to fitness and wellness. Last week presented its own set of challenges, from dealing with a stolen car to an injury that made leg workouts impossible. Yet, pushing through adversity while adapting workouts can be incredibly empowering. Injuries such as a glute tear are painful and limiting, but they also encourage creativity and patience in training. For those facing similar setbacks, incorporating upper body or back workouts using moderate weights, like 15-30 pound dumbbells, is a great way to maintain momentum without aggravating the injury. Performing 4 sets of 8-10 reps strikes a balance between building strength and not over-exerting. Yoga, mentioned as part of the recovery process, is another excellent tool. It helps maintain flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and improve mental clarity during recovery phases. Sticking to a positive mindset, as highlighted in the article, is vital—claiming a great week ahead motivates the body and soul to heal and grow stronger. Tracking progress beyond just physical workouts—such as journaling feelings, acknowledging milestones, and setting achievable goals—can further support both mental and physical health. For anyone working through recovery or tough weeks, remember that consistency, creative adjustment to workouts, and self-compassion make all the difference. Embracing each new week as an opportunity to improve, even in small ways, keeps fitness journeys sustainable and rewarding.
