ℹ️ beautiful trail! if you are running short on time, you do not have to hike the full 3.1 miles to see the waterfall! you can shorten it by turning around at the drawbridge!

ℹ️ 4 miles! 2 hours! we went in march and it was super muddy so make sure to be prepared for all sorts of conditions! it is very steep at some points as well! FREE!

If pressed for time, you can opt for a shorter hike, returning at the drawbridge to still enjoy the stunning waterfall without completing the full trail. God’s Thumb is another must-see, promising a fulfilling hike of 4 miles in approximately 2 hours. Embrace the adventure while preparing for various trail conditions—especially if you're hiking in March, when the trail can be muddy. Lastly, don’t miss Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, known for its expansive sandy dunes in addition to its beautiful beaches. Although parking fees may apply, you might find free parking during construction work, making it a budget-friendly spot to enjoy the sunset. Whether you're planning an entire road trip or just a day venture, these stops along Highway 101 offer a blend of adventure and natural beauty that truly defines the Oregon Coast.
