A bikeless biker
In the land of roaring engines
and chrome that gleams bright,
There lived a bikeless biker, who’d lost his shining knight.
His Harley now just a memory, a ghost of days gone by,
Yet he walked with silent strength, head held high.
They called him Old Joe, a legend in his time,
But without his beloved bike, he was a silent mime.
His brothers roared past on their thunderous steel,
While Joe walked the road, his pain concealed.
"Hey Joe, where’s your ride?" they’d ask with a grin,
But Joe would just smile, though weary within.
His heart was still on the highway, where his spirit soared,
On those endless stretches where he once roared.
Each day he’d wander, along familiar tracks,
His leather is worn and faded, from years upon his back.
He’d watch the bikers pass, with a faraway gaze,
Lost in the echoes of his glory days.
He’d sit by the roadside, under skies so vast,
Reliving every mile, the memories cast.
The wind in his face, the freedom he felt,
Now just whispers of a past that made his heart melt.
But Joe, he found solace, in the stories he’d tell,
Of the open road’s magic, of the highways he knew so well.
To the young and the eager, he’d pass on the flame,
Teaching them the spirit, the essence of the game.
"Life’s not in the metal, the chrome or the speed,
But in the journey you take, the values you breed.
It’s the brotherhood, the love, the road’s endless embrace,

Though his bike was gone, his legacy remained,
In the hearts of those who’d listen, who felt his unchained.
For the spirit of a biker is more than the ride,
