三重県や周辺の地域では、台風15号による影響で局地的な大雨が確認されています。私の経験から言うと、こうした際は15時間～24時間程度の雨雲の動きを雨雲レーダーで逐一チェックすることが非常に重要です。特に、三重県の太平洋側では山岳地帯に湿った南寄りの風が当たりやすく、雨が強く降りやすい特徴があります。 雨の降り方には時間帯による変化もあり、夜間も大雨が続くことが多いため、夜遅くまで油断せず最新の天気情報を確認してください。私自身も昨年の台風襲来時に、雨雲レーダーを使って雨の切れ目を把握し、外出や避難のタイミングを見極めることができました。 また、線状降水帯という現象にも注意が必要です。これは複数の積乱雲が連なることで長時間局地的に非常に激しい雨を降らせるものです。近年は三重県を含む東海～関東の太平洋側で発生することがあるため、公式の避難情報に従い、早めの避難判断が求められます。 最後に、今回の台風は強風よりも大雨が主な脅威となっています。浸水や土砂災害に警戒し、低地や川沿いにお住まいの方は特に注意してください。車の移動も危険なので、台風通過中は外出を控え、家で安全を確保することをお勧めします。
