Finally we’re married!
First post on lemon! 🍋
Been planning to document down our wedding journey but was thinking of how to go about doing so…
But finally completed with our ROM at least!! 🎉
There were definitely a lot of ups and downs in planning and a lot a lot of raging (from me haha) but I want to properly document them down so that I can look back on it next time.
ROM done, still have PWS during our honeymoon (excited too!!), GDL (the traditions 😵💫) and the AD (which is in June 2026).
Will properly do more posts of my wedding journey and update again. For now, just enjoying being Mrs Chan 💫
Planning a wedding is truly an emotional and multifaceted experience. After completing our ROM, I’ve been reflecting on how blending our different cultures and families has added such richness to the entire journey. There’s so much more to look forward to, including the Pre-Wedding Shoot (PWS) during our honeymoon and the traditional Grand Dinner (GDL) planned for June 2026. One thing I’ve learned through all this planning is the importance of patience and flexibility, especially when coordinating with various vendors and managing family traditions. It’s definitely not smooth sailing all the time—there were moments of frustration and lots of lessons on compromise. But these ups and downs make the story of our wedding unique and memorable. Also, as we prepare for the future events, I’m becoming more mindful of fully embracing every ritual and cultural aspect that comes with our union. It’s a beautiful way to honor our backgrounds while creating new memories together. I’m excited to document and share more of this heartfelt journey, hoping it can inspire others to find joy, healing, and restoration in their own wedding experiences.
