Happy World Theatre Day! 🫶🏼
It’s World Theatre Day! 🎭 I’m a day late here but I swear I was on time yesterday everywhere else 😅
I’ve performed on stage & have stage managed shows (and i LOVE it), but nothing beats the friendships I’ve made in this beautiful community 🫶🏼 Yeah the industry is cut throat, but not everyone is a Rachel Berry LOL. I’m forever grateful for every opportunity to share my craft with others. And thank you to my friends for continuously inspiring me! Cheers to never giving up ✨

Video is from my time playing Miss Honey in Matilda The Musical last winter! The video was taken during our final dress rehearsal (nothing like some mic feedback to test the nerves LOL) #musical #musicaltheatre #singing #latina #actor
World Theatre Day is celebrated each year on March 27 to raise awareness of the importance of theatre arts in culture. It’s a day when artists, theatre enthusiasts, and audiences come together to honor the legacy and impact of theatre. Theatre plays a crucial role in our societies, promoting dialogue, understanding, and empathy among diverse communities. This year's theme for World Theatre Day emphasizes the resilience of the performing arts and reminds us of the power of storytelling. From musical theatre productions like 'Matilda' to intimate performances, every show provides a unique experience that connects us deeply with the human experience. As we reflect on our favorite performances, let’s not forget the incredible talent behind the scenes—stage managers, set designers, and directors—who work tirelessly to bring stories to life. The collaborative effort of these artists creates an unforgettable experience for the audience, showcasing the beauty and complexity of theatrical arts. On this day, consider attending a local performance or supporting your favorite theatre company to encourage the continuation of this vital art form. Share your memories or photos from the stage, and let’s preserve the essence of live performance for generations to come!
