Decorated my Hobonichi Planner
My partner got me the Hobonichi cousin planner for Christmas and I finally decorated it!
I’m stuck on what to add on the inside but so far using it for work and notes.

When I first received my Hobonichi Cousin planner, I was excited but also a bit overwhelmed with all the possibilities for customization. This planner is known for its versatility and high-quality paper, which works great with various pens and markers. I started by decorating the cover with stickers and some washi tape, which added a personal touch without overwhelming the simplicity I love. Inside, I mainly use it for work-related notes and to-do lists. One tip I found helpful is to create sections using colored tabs or markers to separate meeting notes, tasks, and brainstorming ideas. This way, I can quickly flip to the right page and stay organized during busy days. I also experimented with incorporating motivational quotes and little doodles to keep myself inspired and engaged. Since the Hobonichi planner has daily pages, it’s perfect for jotting down quick thoughts or reminders. I found that using different colored pens for different types of entries—such as deadlines, important meetings, and personal notes—makes reviewing the planner less tedious and more visually appealing. The attached cinema ticket in my planner is a fun memory that adds personality and a reminder to balance work with relaxation. Small mementos like that can turn a planner into a more meaningful keepsake. Overall, decorating my Hobonichi cousin planner has made planning feel more enjoyable and creative, turning a daily chore into an uplifting experience that motivates me to stay on top of my tasks.
