Three years ago, the law finally recognized what our hearts had known for over a decade.
Today, we celebrate 3 years of marriage but our love story began 15 years ago, and every chapter has led us here.
In those 15 years, we’ve lived enough experiences for several lifetimes. We’ve celebrated incredible victories, faced heartbreaking setbacks, started over more than once, and continued choosing each other through it all. The marriage certificate may say three years, but our commitment has always been so much deeper than a piece of paper.
People look at us today and say, “You’re so lucky.” What they don’t see are all the Itatí Cantoral moments that shaped us (if you are Latino, you know 😅). The tears, the uncertainty, the sacrifices, the difficult conversations, the moments we questioned everything except our love for one another. Those moments didn’t weaken us,they became the foundation of the life we’ve built together.
And I wouldn’t rewrite a single page.
A minute with you has never been ordinary. Life with you is full of laughter, adventure, growth, and surprises. Even after 15 years, you still make every day feel like there’s something new waiting for us around the corner.
I’ll forever be grateful for the day my younger sister asked me to fill in for her at that soccer game. What seemed like such a small favor became the moment that forever changed my life. It brought me to you.
Thank you for being my wife, my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my greatest blessing. Thank you for walking beside me through every season and for believing in us even when the road wasn’t easy.
Happy 3rd anniversary to us. Fifteen incredible years together, three years officially married, and a lifetime still ahead. I can’t wait to see what our next chapter holds, because as long as I’m writing it with you, I know it’ll be my favorite one yet.
