Potty Training As A FTM✨

When I decided it was time to start our potty training journey, I knew I wanted to make it as fun and engaging as possible for my little one, Bela. I drew a grid, one square for each successful potty visit, and labeled it 'BELA'S POTTY CHART' with bright letters, stars, and a rainbow. Below the title, I added the phrase 'Prepare with Me To... Start Potty Training!' to build excitement. Each time she went, she'd get to put a sticker on her chart. It's amazing how much a simple sticker can motivate them! Next up, the prize basket – this was truly my favorite part to put together! The concept is simple: small, exciting rewards for reaching milestones or for consistent effort. I wanted a mix of treats and little toys to keep things interesting. My go-to spot for budget-friendly finds was definitely Dollar Tree. I snagged some adorable Disney Princess surprise stamper activity packs, Ooshies blind bags, and even a 'Baby Shark' finger paint set there, all for just $1.25 each! For drinks, I found a pack of good2grow 100% JUICE Fruit Punch (no sugar added!) at HEB, which were perfect little sips. And who doesn't love Kinder Joy eggs? I grabbed a pack of 12 at Sam's Club. When planning your own prize basket, think about what truly excites your little one. It doesn't have to be expensive. Small bubbles, stickers, crayons, or even a brand-new book can be excellent motivators. The goal is positive reinforcement, celebrating every step, big or small.
