Media I’ve consumed lately instead of doomscroling

Does anyone else feel like doomscrolling slowly melts your brain? 🫠 I’m on a mission to reclaim the brain cells social media stole from me and grow some new ones by diving into psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and anything that actually makes me think.

What kind of content have you been consuming lately?

Instead, I’ve shifted my focus to consuming content that truly enriches my mind and spirit. For example, I found exploring universal principles, like the 12 Universal Laws, incredibly eye-opening and transformative; understanding how our actions ripple out into the world helped me take more responsibility for my own energy. Another key area I’ve dived into is shadow work, inspired by Carl Jung’s ideas about self-understanding. Learning to focus only on myself and stop comparing my journey to others has been liberating. It’s helped me embrace my individuality and let go of unhelpful tensions that aren’t mine to carry. Media that discusses high-vibration living and spiritual growth also captured my attention. These messages create space for me to consider how shifting my mindset can help me become "unrecognizable" in a positive way—more aligned with my values and less influenced by external noise. Taking a digital detox breaks the cycle and gives the brain a chance to reset, making room for learning every day through mindful reading and reflection. Through this process, I’ve gradually reclaimed the 'brain cells' social media previously stole and replaced them with curiosity and meaningful engagement. If you’re looking to change your media habits, I recommend seeking content that challenges your thinking and nurtures your growth, rather than content that simply feeds anxiety or negativity.
