On Day 8, choosing an outfit that balances comfort with style is key. I found that layering is a great strategy since campus events can vary in temperature. A light jacket or cardigan over a casual dress or jeans paired with a chic top works well. Accessorizing also adds a personal touch to your look. Simple necklaces, fun earrings, or even a statement bag can elevate your outfit. Footwear should be comfortable as you’ll likely be on your feet a lot—sneakers or low boots are good options. Remember, your outfit is a reflection of your personality, so don’t be afraid to include colors or styles that make you feel confident. Taking photos of your outfits before the event helped me keep track of what worked best and made mornings less stressful. Beyond the appearance, participating fully with friends and fellow rushees wore me down less when I felt comfortable in what I was wearing. Rush week is a unique experience, and dressing well helped me feel more prepared to engage and enjoy each event to the fullest.
