This experience has deepened my appreciation for the game's rich history and ongoing transformation. From the first swing to the final putt, each moment on the course is a chance to confront and better oneself. Moreover, the shared camaraderie among golfers, regardless of background, creates a powerful bond. Whether battling the sun or the wind, the game reminds me that golf is as much about character as it is about technique. Watching and joining other Black golfers has been inspiring, highlighting the importance of representation and community in sports. Ultimately, the journey on the course parallels life itself — requiring patience, resilience, and constant self-evaluation. Every round is an opportunity to learn something new about the sport, the world, and most importantly, yourself.
