Hello frands!
I don't know how to work this app and that stresses me out 😭
if you found me, hello!! #booksoflemon8 #books
Hey everyone! Since I'm still figuring out how to make the most of Lemon8, I’ve been thinking about what advice I’d give to other book lovers who are just starting out here, or even what I wish I knew myself! It’s a bit of a learning curve, but the community seems amazing. First off, don't be afraid to just jump in and post! My first post was literally just me saying hello and admitting I was a bit lost, and it felt good to just get something out there. You don't need perfect aesthetics right away. Start by sharing what you're currently reading, your favorite book covers, or even a cozy reading nook. People love seeing authentic content, and it’s a great way to introduce your personal reading style to the community. Secondly, hashtags are your best friend, especially if you're into books! Make sure to use popular ones like #booksoflemon8, #books, #booklover, #readingcommunity, and more specific ones related to genres you enjoy, like #fantasybooks, #romancebooks, or #thrillerreads. This helps other readers find your content and helps you discover new accounts. I'm trying to get better at this myself, as it really seems key to connecting with the right people! Third, engage with others. This isn't just a place to post; it's a vibrant community. Scroll through your feed, find posts that resonate with you, and leave genuine comments. Ask questions, share your thoughts on someone's review, or praise their aesthetic. That's how you start building connections and finding your tribe on the app. I've already seen so many inspiring book stacks and creative reviews that have encouraged me to interact more! Don’t forget to explore the 'For You' page and search bar. If you're looking for recommendations, type in your favorite genre or author. Looking for pretty book photography tips? Search for #bookstagramtips. There’s so much inspiration here, and it’s a great way to discover new content creators and even new books to add to your ever-growing TBR pile (mine is already out of control!). You might even stumble upon interactive book challenges or reading sprints! Finally, have fun with it! Lemon8 is a visual platform, so play around with different photo layouts, filters, and even short video clips of your books. It's a creative outlet, and there's no pressure to be perfect. If you’re like me and initially felt a little overwhelmed, remember everyone starts somewhere. We’re all here to share our passions and connect. What are your top tips for a new Lemon8 user, especially if they love books? I'd love to hear them and learn from your experiences!
