Help with sweets
My sweet tooth is soooo bad. I don't eat out much anymore, I've incorporated a lot more veggies and fruits in my diet, I've been able to incorporate more water in my day. But I cannot for the life of me curb my sweet tooth. I try to limit myself to a treat once a week but I'd really like to get ahead of this because the past month I've definitely broken my one sweet treat a week rule. I think the cozy cooler temps are making baked goods more appealing. ðŸ˜
are there any tricks you use to curb cravings? or yummy healthier options then pure sugar?
and yes I did walk out of this store with a couple donuts, I mean how could I not?

A sweet tooth can be difficult to manage, especially during the cooler months when cravings for baked goods increase. To effectively curb your cravings, one strategy is to opt for naturally sweet snacks such as fruit or yogurt mixed with honey. These healthier alternatives not only satisfy your sweet cravings but also provide nutritional benefits without the added sugars found in traditional desserts. Another helpful approach is to practice mindful eating. Taking the time to savor each bite can lead to increased satisfaction and a reduced desire for more sugar. Additionally, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water can help, as sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger. Incorporating regular exercise can also support your efforts to manage your cravings. Physical activity increases endorphins, which can help to create a feeling of well-being, making sugary treats less appealing. Lastly, don't forget to focus on balance. Allowing yourself a designated treat occasionally, rather than completely cutting sweets out, can prevent feelings of deprivation that often lead to bingeing. By following these strategies, you can take control of your sweet tooth and feel great about your food choices.

I have the same problem with a sweet tooth. I try to stay away from the baked goods section, snacks isle & turn away from those areas that the stores stick right in the middle of the main isles. Most times it works well, but I too give in once in awhile
