Let’s Talk Nintendo Switch 2 🎮
From owning a Switch Lite, to the Animal Crossing Special Edition Switch, to now the Switch 2, the last 5 years have given me many memories.
I wanted to upgrade regardless and I can honestly say that it was definitely worth the wait. I’m slowly adjusting to the size of the Switch 2, but it is not terribly uncomfortable. I was able to transfer all of my save data with no issues. I was also able to sync my 8BitDo controller by updating the firmware. Regardless of what people say that the Switch 2 should have been an OLED screen instead of an LCD, but I personally don’t mind it. I like that it is more sharper and brighter. The visuals are better improvement as well from all of the other Switch consoles.
I couldn’t play games like Disney Dreamlight Valley and Palia on the Switch 1, because it would lag so much and would take forever to load. The gameplay is so much smoother and faster now on the Switch 2. Big wins on the improvement of performance. I look forward to playing more faster paced games as well like Pokemon Unite to see how well that performs.
I mostly will play this docked since I do livestream on Twitch and TikTok weekly. I will keep you all updated on how everything is in the future whether I’m playing on stream or on the go.

I’m a little late to the game, as I’ve only had my switch 2 for a couple days, but already I love it. I’m so eager to get the games they’ll be releasing for it, and incredibly happy with the performance boost I’ve seen so far. Dreamlight Valley still hiccups, but I’m happy that when I turn the camera I no longer have to wait for it to catch up.
