And of course, you can't go to San Antonio without experiencing its historic missions. The old stone mission buildings, with their beautiful arches and serene courtyards, transport you back in time. It’s incredible to think about the history held within those walls. Another quirky find that totally caught my eye was that huge, vibrant popsicle sculpture. It's just one of those fun, unexpected pieces of public art that adds so much character to the city's streets. And keep an eye out for unique landmarks like the Hertzbergs clock – these little details really make wandering around San Antonio an adventure. For anyone planning a trip, my biggest tip would be to wear comfy shoes because you'll want to do a lot of walking and exploring. Don't be afraid to wander off the main drag a bit; that's where you find some of the most authentic spots. Whether it’s sitting on a rustic stone bench taking in the sights, or just peeking through a wooden gate to discover a charming courtyard, San Antonio has a way of surprising you at every turn.
