I encountered some challenges with color mixing, especially with oranges, and realized that choosing high-quality pigments like Quinacridone Red can significantly enhance the outcome. Art is often a journey marked by trial and error, and it's okay to experience moments of "orange regret" as I did! Each layer brought new dimensions to my work and reminded me of the value of experimentation. As artists, we grow and learn with each brush stroke, and I encourage you to embrace the process, whether it's plein air painting or studio work.
