Today we talked about how every challenge is an opportunity that God gives us, and how it is an opportunity to then give our faith back into him. We took some time to right down 3 things that we will put our faith into and it was just a good lesson and reminder that He has big plans for us all and to trust in that 🩷
In my personal journey of faith, I've found that viewing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles has transformed how I approach life. The lesson shared here reminds me of Hebrews 11, often called the 'Faith Hall of Fame,' which beautifully illustrates how faith empowered many to overcome tremendous difficulties. One passage that especially resonates is Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This scripture has taught me that faith is not just passive belief but an active trust in God's promises, even when the path seems unclear. Like Noah building the ark well before the flood, or Abraham stepping out toward an unknown land, faith involves acting in hope and obedience. Writing down the three things to put faith into is a practical exercise I now incorporate regularly. It helps to focus my heart on what I truly trust God with, especially during uncertain times. This practice has strengthened my ability to surrender worries and lean into God’s plans, knowing He has a purpose that transcends my immediate understanding. The imagery and themes from the OCR content on Hebrews reinforce the idea that faith has always been the foundation for overcoming hardships and receiving God’s promises. Characters like Moses, Sarah, and others exemplify how faith worked in tangible ways, guiding their steps and providing strength. Overall, embracing challenges with faith shifts our perspective from fear to hope. It encourages us to see trials as invitations to deepen trust and walk confidently, knowing that God’s plans are good and He is faithful to fulfill His promises. This mindset has brought me peace and resilience, and I hope others find the same encouragement in these timeless truths.
