... Read moreStarting a 'get to know me' post is always a fun and important way to build connections online. As someone balancing a hectic job as a police dispatcher alongside college studies in criminal justice, psychology, and legal studies, I’ve found that sharing personal insights helps me engage with others who share my interests. My two fur babies, Dune and Lydia, truly bring joy and energy to my daily routine — I love how pets keep me active and grounded. Plus, my taste spans various areas from penguins and green as favorite animal and color, to pasta and matcha for foods and drinks, showing a bit of my personality through simple pleasures. Documentaries, sci-fi, and fantasy books are a big part of how I unwind and explore new ideas. There’s something captivating about diving into well-crafted stories or learning from true crime podcasts that keeps me inspired. Plus, being an avid reader and student, I’m always looking for fresh book recommendations or study resources. Engaging on platforms like TikTok (@kate_olleta), Instagram (@kateispenguin13), Pinterest (@kateispenguin13), and Goodreads helps me connect with like-minded individuals. Whether it’s sharing tips for managing a busy schedule, discussing a favorite documentary, or just swapping study habits, I find that community interaction enriches the whole experience. If you’re also balancing school, work, or juggling hobbies, finding a supportive corner online can be motivating. Don’t hesitate to share your own favorites or ask questions — building connections through shared interests makes the journey more enjoyable and rewarding!
