Easy homemade donuts!🍩
Super quick and delicious! 🤤 Personally I think these donuts taste 10x better than store bought.
Ingredients
~Pillsbury original/ southern home style biscuits (8 biscuits)
Glaze
~Powder sugar 1 cup
~Milk or water 4 tablespoons
~Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
~ Hershey’s cocoa natural unsweetened ( for chocolate glaze) 1/4 cup
~ vegetable oil for frying make sure pot has at least 3 in of oil (enough to submerge them) make sure oil is at 360 degrees F
Cut a small hole out of the middle of the biscuit ( I used a medicine measuring cup 🤭 a shot glass would work too! ) place your doughnuts and doughnut holes into the oil and fry until golden they take about 30 seconds. Let cool for 10-15 min. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract into a bowl to make your glaze. For chocolate glaze just mix in the Hershey’s cocoa. Coat the tops and enjoy!
