How I make best use of my mornings:

- hatch alarm: easier wake up bc it mocks sunrise & calming sounds

- reading: reading for 5-10 mins instead of scrolling when waking up

- no social media: I brick my phone after dinner and don’t unbrick until im walking out the door. It improves mood & productivity by 1000%

- coffee: making a latte at home instead of buying one out. fun activity in the mornings and saves $$

- have outfit ready: picking out my outfit the night before saves me so much time. I can just wake up and throw on my clothes for the day

- pack lunch: prepping my lunch the night before and laying it out together saves so much time in the morning and also makes me actually pack a healthy lunch

I pick up a kindle or a book every morning, which sets a positive tone and keeps my mind focused. I’ve noticed my mood stays more stable, and I feel less overwhelmed by unnecessary information. One of the biggest adjustments I made was 'bricking' my phone after dinner—using apps that block social media until I leave for work the next morning. This simple boundary keeps distractions away and boosts my productivity tremendously. I get so much more done and feel more present as I’m not constantly checking notifications. Making a latte at home instead of buying one has become a fun, mindful ritual. It saves money, feels like a small treat, and gives me a moment to enjoy the process rather than rushing out the door. Lastly, prepping my outfit and lunch the night before has simplified my morning routine. It removes decision fatigue and reduces the stress of the morning rush. Packing a healthy lunch in advance motivates me to eat better throughout the day. These small, intentional habits combine to create mornings that feel balanced, efficient, and uplifting.
