Unfiltered & Authentically Me

Sharing my journey has been a refreshing way to connect with others who value authenticity and passion. Like many, I balance a dynamic career as a Director of Nursing with a fulfilling family life that includes four wonderful children and my supportive spouse. Nursing, especially in long-term care, oncology, and emergency room settings, can be emotionally challenging but also incredibly rewarding, teaching resilience and compassion every day. Outside work, I indulge in simple pleasures that add color to my life—whether that’s heading out for thrift store runs, sipping on iced coffee, or diving into arts and crafts projects. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community brings a unique and beautiful perspective to my life and relationships, and sharing this aspect openly encourages acceptance and connection. For those juggling multiple roles and interests, it’s important to embrace your whole self without filters. The blend of professional dedication, family love, creative outlets, and community pride shapes a fulfilling lifestyle. I encourage everyone to lean into what makes them uniquely them—seek out new experiences, appreciate the small joys, and build meaningful connections along the way.
