blueberry electrolyte cocktail🫐🍹

this non-alcoholic drink was inspired by laying out in the sun and having a craving to cool off🌞 electrolytes are a hydrating powerhouse and I try to take them at least once a day! here I used the nuun tri-berry dissolving tablet and it added the best vibrancy to this bev🥰 you can use whatever electrolytes you have for this :) there’s antioxidants from the fresh blueberries, the citrus of juicy lemon, and an herby basil essence🫐🍋🌿

Ingredients:

* 3 tbsp organic blueberries

* juice of half a lemon

* 4 fresh basil leaves

* serving of electrolytes (1 tablet, tsp, etc.)

* 1/2-1 cup ice

* can of lemon-flavored sparkling water

Directions:

1. Place the blueberries, lemon juice, and basil leaves in a glass or cocktail shaker. Muddle this mixture.

2. Strain the mixture into your glass of choice. Add the serving of electrolytes and stir or froth it in well.

3. Pour in the ice, then top it all off with the sparkling water.

4. Add the remaining, muddled contents, if desired as a garnish. Enjoy!

An NCLEX clinical judgment question presents a 68-year-old patient with altered mental status, weakness, and specific lab results (low Sodium, low Magnesium). It asks to select all appropriate nursing actions from six options (A-F).
Electrolyte Review & NCLEX Question
Electrolytes might sound like a basic review topic, but on the NCLEX - and in real clinical practice - they show up in critical moments. Two of the most important to understand are Sodium (Na⁺) and Magnesium (Mg²⁺). Why? Because when these values are off, your patient can go downhill fast. I
