why I don’t gift influencers with my brand layere

... Read moreIn my experience running a brand, I've learned that investing in customers rather than influencers creates genuinely lasting connections. Many brands focus heavily on gifting influencers, providing them with premium PR packages in hopes of quick growth. However, I found this often overlooks the customers who are truly the backbone of any brand—the ones who spend their hard-earned money and inspire organic growth. Instead of spreading resources thin by gifting thousands of pieces to influencers, I choose to put that budget into creating magical experiences for my customers. This means focusing on premium packaging that delights them and working with ethical manufacturers that use 100% organic cotton or at least 95% organic cotton. Ensuring there are no harmful toxins or PFAS chemicals in my products reflects the care I want my customers to feel. By not giving away products for free on a large scale, I can prioritize quality over quantity. It allows me to cultivate an authentic brand that customers feel proud to support and naturally advocate for. Though this approach might slow growth compared to influencer-driven campaigns, the loyalty and passion from customers are far more sustainable and rewarding. Through this perspective, I've discovered that customers value feeling seen and appreciated more than flashy influencer endorsements. Giving them the best experience creates a powerful and genuine ripple effect that builds my brand’s reputation organically. For anyone building a brand, I recommend thinking carefully about who truly deserves your investment and focusing on nurturing those meaningful relationships for long-term success.
