Daily Pain Journal:Your Mom Was Right
Today's pain journal 💜
Today has been one of those days where I just don't feel good.
My arms feel like I worked out, and all I did was fold laundry yesterday.
My fingers and hands have still been cramping.
Both shoulders hurt.
My knees hurt.
I've been colder than normal.
My forehead feels warm like I might be running a fever, even though I don't know if I actually am.
I've slept a lot today.
And somehow I'm still tired.
But the symptom driving me the craziest today is the itching.
Not a normal itch.
The kind that makes you feel like something is crawling on your skin.
The kind that gets more intense the longer you try to ignore it.
I scratched my ankle until I made it sore, and now I'm sitting here trying not to scratch it more.
My mom used to tell me to stop scratching mosquito bites, rashes, and chicken pox.
I never listened very well then either. 😅
Today I managed to make dinner for my family and wash a load of clothes.
Not much by some people's standards.
But today, it was enough.
And right now, enough is enough.

What's a symptom people don't talk about enough because it sounds small until you have to live with it?
