The cover with its eerie tree definitely drew me in, and I'm hoping for some spine-tingling moments with this one. It's perfect for those chilly evenings when you want to curl up with a genuinely creepy book. For a dose of high-seas adventure, I grabbed Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. The cover alone, with the fierce protagonist and her sword, promises an action-packed journey. I'm always on the lookout for strong female leads and fantasy worlds, and this YA fantasy series has been highly recommended. And for those who love a good thriller, I couldn't pass up Obsessed by James Patterson and James O. Born, and Home Is Where The Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose. Patterson is a go-to for fast-paced suspense, and Jeneva Rose's title alone hints at a dark, twisty domestic thriller. I'm expecting some serious page-turning with these two!
