How to Make the BEST skincare routine!
When I first started refining my skincare routine, I quickly realized that not all products marketed as effective truly worked for my skin. It’s important to remember that what works for influencers or friends might not suit your skin type. I recommend doing some research or consulting a dermatologist before committing to new products. For example, some moisturizing products can trigger acne even on skin that's not prone to it, so checking ingredient lists for acne-safe components is a must. Also, don't be tempted by viral skincare products just because they're popular online; many are backed by influencer marketing rather than proven benefits. It’s better to focus on products with ingredients scientifically supported to benefit your skin. I learned that a higher price tag doesn’t always equate to better quality. Some affordable brands offer reliable, effective options. Instead of piling on multiple products, a simple routine with a good cleanser, acne treatment if necessary, moisturizer, and sunscreen often suffices. During my routine refinement, I found products like The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution helpful for exfoliation but only used it sparingly. Incorporating SPF daily became a game-changer for protecting my skin. Overall, tailoring the routine to your unique skin concerns, doing regular checks on product ingredients, and avoiding unnecessary product overload makes the biggest difference.
