Our last Hawaii stay before we move and we chose our forever favorite inside Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Grand Islander 🤍

We have stayed in a few buildings here over the years, but this one always feels like home. The layout, the views, and how functional every part of the room is makes it easy to truly relax.

We were lucky to get an 01-side unit this time, which is one of the best views in the building, and it made this goodbye stay even more meaningful. We stayed here years ago for over 3 months and fell in love with Oahu here, so coming back before our military move felt full circle.

This room had everything we needed for our final Hawaii chapter.

What makes this building special is not just the prime location within the resort complex but also its thoughtful room design and breathtaking ocean views. The 01-side units are highly sought after because they offer panoramic vistas of the Pacific, perfect for starting the day with sunrise or unwinding at sunset. One thing that really enhances the stay here is how the room layout prioritizes functionality without sacrificing comfort. From spacious kitchens and living areas to large balconies, every detail is designed to make you feel at ease, whether you’re there for a quick getaway or an extended visit. This especially resonated with us during our long-term stay before our military move, as it provided the perfect home base to explore Oahu while relaxing in comfort. The location itself is unbeatable—right on Waikiki Beach with easy access to dining, shopping, and entertainment. Plus, the village offers a true Hawaiian resort experience with lush gardens, pools, and cultural activities. Staying at the Grand Islander gives you the balance of resort amenities and the privacy of a home. If you’re planning a trip to Oahu and considering where to stay, I highly recommend checking out the Grand Islander. It’s ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers who want a mix of convenience, comfort, and stunning scenery. Whether it's your first visit or a return trip, its welcoming ambiance and memorable views will make your Hawaii experience truly special.
