However, men face a drop in perceived value only when cognitive decline becomes significant, typically much later in life. For women, the value tied to reproductive abilities means that menopause signals an abrupt shift in how society views them. This shift can affect relationships deeply, as seen in discussions about 'pinkpilling' men—helping partners understand these changes empathetically. It’s crucial to recognize that women’s worth extends far beyond fertility and production; intrinsic value isn’t diminished by age or changes in biology. Embracing this perspective has helped many women I know reclaim their confidence and redefine their roles.
