Tryna find my style as a mom of two!
Anyone else find it hard to find your “style” after having two children?!
I find it so hard to love myself, and all of the clothes I own I don’t feel confident in! I hate getting dressed, and I look at myself and I’m like “NOPE!” And change outfits one or two more times until I say screw it and put on leggings and a an old high school tshirt of mine 😒
How do you confident girls do it. Within the last year I’ve lost 50 lbs and gained 30 of it back and I’m struggling SO much.
I wanna be confident 😢

Oh my goodness, I completely relate to this feeling! It's so tough to navigate body changes and hormonal shifts after having kids, let alone figure out what to wear. I've been there, staring at a closet full of clothes and feeling like nothing fits or looks good. But I've learned a few things on my journey to reclaim my confidence and style, and I truly believe every mom deserves to feel amazing in her clothes! First off, let’s ditch the idea of getting back to a 'pre-baby' body. Your body has done incredible things, and it deserves to be celebrated *now*. The biggest game-changer for me was investing in clothes that fit my current shape. Seriously, get rid of anything that pinches, pulls, or makes you feel self-conscious. Don’t wait for a different size; dress the body you have today! Properly fitted bras and well-fitting underwear can also make a world of difference in how your clothes lay and how you feel. When it comes to actual outfits, comfort is absolutely key for busy moms, but it doesn't mean sacrificing style! Think about versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down effortlessly. A great pair of high-waisted, stretchy jeans, comfy yet chic sneakers, and flowy, breathable tops are my absolute go-tos. And honestly, don't underestimate the power of a well-fitting, comfortable jumpsuit – like that gorgeous olive green one I saw! It’s one piece, an instant outfit, and makes you feel incredibly put-together with minimal effort. Look for fabrics that have a bit of stretch and move with you throughout the day, so you're not constantly adjusting. Another tip for boosting confidence is to focus on what you do love about your body. Do you have great arms? Rock a sleeveless top! Love your legs? Try a stylish midi skirt with some platform sandals, similar to what you might see for a casual, chic outing. Sometimes, just highlighting one feature can make you feel so much better. Accessories are also a total game-changer when you feel like your outfits are falling flat. A statement necklace, a colorful scarf, a chic handbag, or even a cool pair of earrings can elevate a simple tee and jeans instantly. They're also an easy way to incorporate current trends without needing a full wardrobe overhaul. And don't be afraid to experiment with colors and prints that make you feel happy and vibrant! A pop of color can truly lift your mood. Consider building a mini capsule wardrobe around your daily life. What do you do most days? If you're often at the park, focus on stylish athleisure or durable, fashionable basics. If you love a good coffee date, have a few go-to blouses or comfortable dresses ready. The goal is to have pieces that mix and match easily, reducing decision fatigue in the mornings. Ultimately, confidence isn't just about the clothes, but how you feel in them. Take a few extra minutes for yourself when you can – a quick five-minute makeup routine, doing your hair, or simply trying on outfits when you actually have time (not when you're rushing out the door!). When you feel good about yourself, it shines through, no matter what you're wearing. Remember, you're a powerful mom, and that's the most stylish thing of all!

The key is not what you wear it’s enjoying time and loving yourself in anything. When you’re 70 years old you won’t be thinking about every single outfit, you’ll be remembering the good memories of what you did. Confidence comes from not putting pressure on or trying to hard to be liked. Just be genuine <3
