I canโ€™t get through my MOH speech w/o crying. ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ˜ญ

Yโ€™all weddings are always so emotional for me. If thereโ€™s one thing imma do at a wedding, its cry. I think this is really hitting different because this truly is my first friends wedding that iโ€™m in and im going to have to hold it together as best as I can. I havent even been able to get it through practicing my Maid of Honor Speech without sobbing so please say a little positive thought my way if you can. Thank you!

... Read moreWeddings are moments filled with joy and emotion, not just for the couple but for the people involved as well. As a Maid of Honor, your role in the wedding is unique and comes with sentimental weight. It's understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially when delivering a speech that encapsulates affection and support for the bride. Practicing your speech can become an emotional rollercoaster. It might help to incorporate small breathing exercises to regain composure when feelings start to overwhelm you. Remember, many have been there, and your feelings are completely valid. You are not alone in finding it challenging to hold back tears during significant life events. To add a personal touch to your speech, consider sharing fond memories with the bride, and showcasing the joy she brings to your lifeโ€”this not only honors her but also prepares you emotionally for the delivery. Lastly, visualize the ceremony, and imagine a supportive crowd that wants to celebrate with you. These strategies could ease your journey and help you articulate your thoughts with grace. Embrace this unique opportunity to express your heartfelt sentiments, and know that it's perfectly okay to feel emotional; after all, love is transformative and deeply felt.

Youโ€™ve got this!!! If those tears come out itโ€™s okay your friend gonna be crying with you. It just shows how much you really love and appreciate your friend.
