This corner wasn’t messy. It was unfinished.
I used to think this room stayed messy because I wasn’t organised enough.
But honestly, most of the clutter was just unfinished decisions.
Every pile had something attached to it:
* paperwork to action
* things waiting for filing
* projects needing one more step
* items I hadn’t fully decided on yet
So instead of trying to reset the whole room again, I started doing something smaller.
Three decisions only.
Not “clean the office”.
Not “get organised”.
Just close three open loops.
That’s what actually started changing the room.
Not motivation.
Not buying containers.
Not a perfect system.
Just fewer delayed decisions staying visible.
I’m testing a small reset rule: choose 3 easy decisions and finish those first.
No full reset.
No turning it into another job.
Just 3 things that stop following me into tomorrow
No overwhelm, you can choose 3 easy decisions and that counts.
