Keroppi Bullet Journal Theme 🐸
For April 2022, I created a frog theme but incorporated keroppi instead. I wanted to do keroppi instead of just regular frogs because keroppi is one of my favorite Sanrio characters and I think it added a bit of uniqueness - the main color of this theme was green (of course).
I started out by finding different drawings of keroppi that I wanted to create in my journal. I did a basic sketch of how I wanted the cover page to look. I included drawings of lily pads and flowers because I did not want there to be a lot of blank space with the one drawing of keroppi. For the quote page, I used the quote, “every journey begins with a single hop” since it was fitting for a frog theme.
For the rest of the monthly setup, I included more cute drawings of keroppi and lily pads and tried using any green stationery supplies that I had.
What’s your favorite Sanrio character?

Obsessed with Keroppi like I am? Well, you're in the right place! Creating a Keroppi bullet journal theme was one of my favorite projects, and I've got some extra tips and ideas to make your Keroppi-themed pages truly shine. Whether you're looking for cute journal art inspiration or ways to incorporate this adorable frog into every aspect of your planner, let's dive in! Bringing Keroppi & Lily Pads to Life I found that sketching Keroppi sitting on a lily pad was so satisfying for my April 2022 setup! If you're new to drawing, don't be intimidated. For beginners, using reference images is a game-changer. Start with simple shapes for Keroppi's head and body, then add his big, expressive eyes and sweet smile. For the lily pads, think of drawing slightly overlapping, irregular circles – it really makes them pop! Don't forget to add those 'small orange flowers' I used, they add such a charming contrast to the 'green lily pads.' Even if you feel like you're not a 'girl drawing for journal' expert, practice makes perfect, and Keroppi's simple design is very forgiving! Exploring More Keroppi Theme Ideas & Color Palettes Beyond just a basic frog theme, what other Keroppi themes can you explore? Maybe Keroppi on a rainy day, Keroppi exploring a forest, or even Keroppi enjoying a picnic with his friends! The possibilities are endless. And let's talk about the 'keroppi color palette.' A classic Keroppi palette includes that vibrant primary green (think frog-skin green!), hints of yellow for his belly, dark pink for his rosy cheeks, and maybe some light blue for water or sky backgrounds. You can use these colors for your 'green dots' in habit trackers or for shading elements in your 'monthly calendar.' Incorporating Keroppi Coloring & Quotes If drawing freehand isn't your strong suit or you're short on time, don't worry! I sometimes look for 'keroppi coloring sheets' online. You can easily print them, color them in yourself, and then cut them out to paste into your journal. It's a quick and fun way to add detailed 'cute journal art' without needing to draw everything from scratch. This is especially great for cover pages or decorative elements in your 'notes and events' sections. For 'keroppi quotes,' like the 'every journey begins with a single hop' quote I used, a quick search for 'Keroppi inspirational quotes' can give you plenty of options for your quote page or weekly spreads. They often revolve around positivity, friendship, and adventure – perfect for a bullet journal! Keroppi as Your Study Buddy & Aesthetic Inspiration For those of you who love Keroppi and are also students, why not make him your study buddy? You could create a 'keroppi studying' themed study tracker, where each completed study session fills in a Keroppi illustration or a 'numbered lily pads' on your 'habit and mood tracking' page. If you have a 'keroppi book' or any Keroppi-themed notebook, you could use it specifically for study notes to make learning more fun and visually appealing. And for those interested in the 'keroppi pfp y2k' aesthetic, you can definitely infuse that vibe into your journal with bolder colors, pixelated elements, or even by incorporating Keroppi's friends in a retro style. It's all about making your journal uniquely yours and bringing joy to your planning!
