Coach Hangtag Practice
I've recently moved from an outlet to a retail store, so now I get to learn how to master the skill of monogramming, a service offered at retail Coach stores. I love that we provide a service like this, It's so fun for us and the customers! But if you're ever wondering, monogramming is a completely free service with a purchase of a bag. You can purchase up to 3 additional hangtags (small $10, larger $15). You can buy hangtags with any purchase of a bag OR small leather good (ex. wallet). All extra hangtags are made out of smooth leather because it's the easiest to monogram. We are able to do other textured tags like cross grain or pebbled leather, but there's no guarantee that it'll look as perfect as smooth leather. You can tell in this picture I shared that the stamping on the top tag isn't perfect because of the texture but also because it's an outlet tag. Outlet leathers have a different coating on them, which is why a monogram may not stick to it as well, but again, if you have a smooth tag, it may be better. Oh, also, the shiny foils do the best with the monogramming, and they're the prettiest, lol. I do wish my store had more colors in the foils, though. that would be rad.
