Some of my fave running gear!
Everything is linked in my bio if you want specifics 🫶
Running long distances, or just trying to build up your endurance, feels so much better when you have the right gear! I've been on my running journey for a while now, and honestly, investing in a few key essentials has been a total game-changer for my performance and recovery. When I first started out, I thought any old t-shirt and shoes would do, but boy was I wrong! First up, hydration and fuel are non-negotiable for endurance. I used to just grab a water bottle and hope for the best, but now I swear by electrolyte products. Whether it's packets I mix into my water or handy tablets, they truly help me prevent those mid-run slumps and keep cramps at bay, especially on hotter days or longer routes. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my energy levels and how I feel post-run when I’m properly fueled. And speaking of water, having a reliable handheld water bottle is key for staying hydrated without breaking my stride. Then there's comfort. You wouldn't believe how much impact a good pair of athletic socks can have! I learned the hard way that cheap socks mean blisters, and blisters mean miserable runs. Now, I always go for moisture-wicking, padded options. And for those bright, sunny runs, no-bounce sunnies are a lifesaver. It’s amazing how much more focused I am when I’m not constantly pushing my sunglasses back up my nose or squinting against the glare. For practicality, a good running belt is a must. I can stash my phone, keys, and an energy gel without feeling weighed down. Some of my sports bras even have a phone pocket in the back, which is super convenient for shorter runs when I don't want to wear a belt. And for safety and motivation, open-ear headphones are brilliant. I can enjoy my music or podcasts while still being aware of my surroundings – essential for urban running or trails. Finally, recovery is just as important as the run itself for building endurance. I used to skip this part, but now I know better! My foam roller is my best friend for working out those tight spots and preventing soreness. And for next-level recovery, I recently started using compression boots. They feel incredible after a tough long run and really help reduce muscle fatigue, getting me ready for my next session much faster. It's like a mini massage for my legs, and I've felt a significant difference in how quickly I bounce back. All these pieces of gear, from tiny electrolyte packets to the more advanced recovery tools, work together to make my endurance running journey more enjoyable and sustainable. Trust me, investing in these essentials makes every mile count!

Of I get a bra worth a phone pocket like that then I’m not gonna get my phone back 😭
