My thoughts:

Raeve is our main mc in the books but I love that there are multiple povs here and so it keeps the pace going. Raeve is very stubborn and an exceptional fighter. She is not innocent and we learn that in the first few chapters. We also meet Kaan and idgaf that male can take me with him too!

The book is descriptive and I love world building. There were so many moments in which I could see exactly what Sarah A. Parker was describing and I LOVE that!

My favorite moments involved the ultimate crash out scene that had me questioning what does that mean when we start at that chapter and the fight scenes throughout the book was just so awesome. The plot twist was just the tip of the ice berg especially when another unexpected plot twist occurs! I enjoyed the mystery of it all. Kaan is getting up there as a favorite of mine.

I only gave it 4.75 due to Raeve walls being closed up like 90% of the time which made it frustrating at times which we learn the reason why while reading but still. I wish I had gotten a better emotional connection with a certain character so I could feel those same emotions that Raeve felt so to me it just felt abrupt leading up to that chapter.

Overall what an ending! I cannot wait for the next book!

Dragons AND Fae!? 😮‍💨

How have I never heard of this book!?! I can’t put it down. The world building is the best I’ve experienced, I’m not confused or bored at all which is common in the first half of a fantasy series. This book has my whole heart right now. I haven’t felt this way since my first time picking up ACOTAR!
