Footwear plays a huge role for me in defining the vibe of an outfit, so I opted for Steve Madden boots from Nordstrom to elevate the look. These boots add just the right amount of edge and complement the casual elements without overpowering them. They’re also great for transitioning between seasons. When styling outfits like this, I find playing with textures—like soft knits and rugged denim—creates depth. Accessories like a minimalist watch or a delicate necklace can enhance the ensemble without cluttering it. Also, rolling up the sleeves of the sweater slightly and cuffing the jorts gives a laid-back but intentional feel.
