I Did It! My First Half Marathon is in the Books!
Today, I crossed the finish line of the Little Rock Half-Marathon—my first-ever half! 13.1 miles, 2 hours and 52 minutes, and an experience I’ll never forget.
From the moment I stepped into the race corral, I could feel the energy. Runners from everywhere, all chasing their own goals, cheering each other on. The course was amazing, the crowd support was incredible, and every mile reminded me why I love this journey.
Training wasn’t always easy, but every early morning run, sore muscle, and mile logged led me to this moment. And let’s talk about that Little Rock bling—they weren’t kidding when they said the medals here are next-level!
If you’re thinking about running your first half, DO IT. Trust the process, enjoy the journey, and soak up every second on race day. This won’t be my last!
